Mission groups: Mission groups are weekly meetings in which we plot for the good of our neighbors. Whether our neighbors are down the street, across Fort Worth, or across the world in places like Baghdad, we want to see the Dream of God restored in every community. Small groups have been important in the church since the beginning, but it is our belief that the church’s mission is to be outwardly missional as opposed to inward facing. Therefore, although we pray, study scripture, and meet each others needs in our mission groups, our ultimate goal each week is to bring the Dream of God closer to the lives of the people we have spiritually adopted.
We currently have a mission group (and are hurtling towards the start of a second!) focused on blessing the Lake Como community of Fort Worth. We do monthly events such as bbq, trash clean-up, and kick-ball games. We meet weekly at the Presley’s home, please email the Chad for more juicy info.

MOPS: MOPS is an acronym for “Mothers of Preschoolers.” Our group exists to help moms find their identities and friends among like-minded ladies with pre-K aged kiddos. The community consists of women of all ages, personalities, and backgrounds. MOPS hosts guest speakers regularly and sets aside time for small groups and outings for moms only as well as the whole family. Meetings are on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of every month from 9:30-11:30 AM at Ridglea Presbyterian. Contact Christina Presley for additional information.
