Something new – video blog (vlog?) experiment
Bible, media, theology, video October 26th, 2009Hey you guys! I’m not quite sure exactly how many of you read the blog (I think somewhere between 5-6 million), but I wonder if you would help me with an experiment. I was thinking about doing a video blog similar to an old blog that I used to do on myspace. First, there would be a call for questions (spiritual, theological, pastoral, or otherwise). Then, I would collect the billions of questions and choose some to answer. Then I would do a video blog answering the questions. That simple. So send me your questions, from the theology of Karl Barth to the proper way to evangelize a Christian. This should be fun…
If Strong Bad became a true follower of Jesus, would we still recognize the ‘Strong Badness’ in him? Is he still himself, or as a new creation does he retain nothing of what he was?

What is it going to take to convince Americans that life is valuable no matter where it lives or what it does? Every day there are people needlessly dying all around the globe but we only hear about it (on American news sources) when it is an American that dies. And I am including terrorists in that list of people who are needlessly dying.
I echo the question Thomas just posted.
Let’s say, hypothetically, that there was a college student who told herself in high school that she’d never be one of those people who lost their on-fire passion for Christ once she got to college… and then, in a moment of duh-clarity, realized that she had become a very passive Christian and wanted to change that as drastically and as quickly as possible. Any books (of the Bible or otherwise) you suggest she read? People you think she could talk to?
